Work package WP8 – Suggestions Forum on improved coordination
Objectives:
The overall aim of the JA GHI is to enhance the EU’s strategic approach and impact in global health processes and ensure the ability to speak with one strong and coherent voice, making its actions visible and sound. The specific objective of WP8 is to develop a proposal for – and pilot – a continuous “Suggestions Forum” involving MSs and topical experts to anticipate and support the strategic development, linkage and coordination of EU policies and measures when working in Global Health.
WP8 sub-objectives are as follows:
- EC and EEAS representatives and EU MSs being better aligned and prioritise the key areas of interventions across the EU Global health strategy;
- EC and EEAS representatives and EU MSs being better coordinated and prepared for action in international Global Health forums;
- EC and EEAS representatives and EU MSs being more effective in international Global Health processes/ negotiations;
- EC and EEAS representatives and EU MSs being more influential in setting strategic direction of Global Health work internationally.
