Work package WP4 – JA GHI Sustainability
Objectives:
The general objective of WP4 is to secure the sustainability of the JA GHI and its key deliverables beyond the end of the current EC support.
Specific WP4 objectives are to:
- Collect core elements of the JA GHI’s priority outcomes which can inform and guide / coordinate policy- and decisionmakers as well as initiatives at regional, national, EU and international levels on the EU and MS coordinated contributions to global health.
- Identify windows of opportunity within EU and international (e.g., multilateral) governance mechanisms for facilitating the sustainability of the JA GHI’s integrated interventions after the JA GHI ends.
- Enable sustainability of the coordination of actions for global health in the EU through the establishment of the JA GHI Suggestions Forum.
- Foster the transfer and integration of the coordination mechanism and core outcomes of the JA GHI WPs into regional, national, European and international policies.
- Foster sustainable synergies between the European Public Health Joint Actions’ community and other relevant EU4Health-funded projects and Team Europe Initiatives regarding their respective contributions to global health, with the aim for higher level of the sustainability of their actions in global health while sharing approaches, knowledge, best practices and experiences.
