We recently held the Year 1 General Assembly of the Joint Action to Maximise the Impact of the EU Global Health Strategy (JA GHI) from October 21 to 23, 2024, at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome, Italy.

Highlights from the Event:

Day 1: The Executive Board met to review major achievements and participate in workshops focused on the Year 2 work plan, digitalization initiatives, and the establishment of the High-Level Panel.

Day 2: All JA GHI Consortium members gathered for insightful discussions, which included reports from the Ministry of Health and updates from our technical work packages. The presentation of the work of Technopolis and digital tool Dr Cooper offered promising solutions in the area of global health and collaboration. We also  turned our attention to the  reflections on Ukraine’s experience with the EU Global Health Strategy.

Day 3: The assembly concluded with a summary of our achievements, keynotes from the European Commission, and valuable input from the High-Level Panel.

We are grateful for the participation and collaboration that took place, as we work towards enhancing global health together.
